Fulham Outclassed United

Fulham 3-0 United

A draw normally disappoint me, let alone 0-3 thumping. This result sum up bad week for United.

After showing a sign of recovering from shock defeat last saturday, United began their in London knowing they dont have a recognize center back, yet again. Carrick continue to fill a void at the back and Sir Alex opted a 3-5-2 formation. Fletcher and De Laet completing the Back 3. Captain of the day, Evra fill in wide left position opposite to Valencia on the right. Scholes, Gibson and Anderson in the middle of the park. Rooney and Owen pairing upfront.

Fulham showed their intention to repeating last season result and attacking right from a start. Kuszczak made one great save to block Gera's effort, my only positive highlight of the game. Scholes made few clumsy passes and on one occasion he lost a possession that led the Fulham's first goal.

The second half began and Fulham made blistering start. They got the second goal on their very first attack. Sir Alex made double change to bring in Fabio and Berbatov in place De Laet and Gibson. The changes showed positive effect and suddenly United breathed a new air. But no real effort or shot on target to trouble Schwarzer. Welbeck in for Owen. Duff completed the rout in 75th minute. No hope for comeback after that.

Full credits for Cottagers. They fully deserved their 3 points. I hope West Ham can do us a favour tomorrow.
