Down At Munich, But Not Out

Bayern 2-1 United

Its quiet rare, i woke up late and miss entire 1st half. And its already 0-1, courtesy of Wayne Rooney.

United:Van Der Sar, Neville (C), Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Nani, Scholes, Fletcher, Carrick, Park, Rooney.

2nd Half: Bayern controlled much of this period. United's possession and attacking movement always ended with misplaced passes. SAF tried to make change by changing the shape to 4-4-2. Berbatov and Valencia entered the fray for Park and Carrick. Looked positive, but proven ineffective if we consider the outcome. Ribery's freekick with a help of Rooney's heavy deflection end up in United's net. The equalizer triggered Bayern's motivation to win the game. The 1-1 draw looked set, but the last movement of the game deliver a hammer blow to United. Our defender, particularly Evra, failed to boot out the ball and Olic sneaked it and shot pass VDS. What an end, contrast to glourious night at Nou Camp 11 years ago.

losing 2-1 isn't the end of the world. Positive side, we've got the away goal. But the negative side, Rooney limped again and making 3 games after this even more depressing in term of importance and physical stress.
