No Longer In Our Hands

United 1-2 Chelsea
It's top of the table clash, the winner will be on the pole position to claim the coveted Premier League title. United had not out best preparation, losing our main striker. But, thats can be said to the visitor too, they started their game without Drogba.

United: Van Der Sar, Neville (C), Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Valencia, Scholes, Park, Giggs, Berbatov.

Berbatov have a big role to play, fill in for injured Rooney. Can he?

1st Half: Cautious approach by both teams. No real threat coming at both ends, tight in the central of the park, crunching tackles all over the park. United tried (but failed) to exploit Chelsea's wide area. Lampard content to sit back and let Malouda and Deco orchasterate their movement. The tactic seem effective and Joe Cole cool finish made all the different. Few penalty claims from both side, but Mike Dean showed no interest.

2nd Half: United's showed our real colours after a break. We controlled everything but produce no result in third end. Here comes Nani and Macheda for Park and Scholes. And the worst are coming, Drogba enter the fray. But he need assistance from Assistant Referee to score the killer goal for United. The Ivorian clearly offside and the official failed to spot it. 10 minutes to go, home crowd praying for miracles. And 2 United substituates combined to make a late effort to salvage a point. Macheda scored using his abs, but Terry claimed The Italian handball. And the equalizing goal are not coming after that, after late subsituation, Gibson for Fletcher.

Totally dissapointed night for me, and official's blunder contributed to Selangor's defeat later made miserable end of my day.
