Utsukushii Rinjin [2011]

This is really good stuff, I'm loving it. Im at 5th episode (10th aired completely in Japan). Its thriller-drama. A beautiful stranger coming into perfectly happy family, wreck it for some personal reason.

I'm a big fan of Nakama Yukie, but she rarely have a good drama in recent years. This time she's on a bit different role, she is a mysterious beautiful new neighbour, an antagonist. Suit her well and she's out -standing.
The aspect I loving most about this drama, how they setup and panning out the storyline. the first 10 minute are good enough to fascinate me. ending of every episode will leave me some questions and great anticipation for the next episode. a lot of twists (though many twists made it cliche)

im not overhyping it, but i think i miss a very good JDrama for more than a year now.. the last one ive really enjoyed it are Mother [2010].

Off The Map [2011]

Watched 3 off the first new episode of Off The Map [2011] last night, a new US TV series on ABC Channel. Quite a good stuff. A bunch of good (and problematic) doctors from US serving a community in remote village, somewhere in South American.

Magical scenery and obsolete medical practice, very heart warming stuff. Some say, they are very much alike Grey's Anatomy. But I didn't care less about it because i didn't watching Grey's Anatomy.

Miral [2011]

A multinational film about Palestinian girl, featuring the lovely Freida Pinto. The film was released on 3 December 2010 in the United Kingdom and on 25 March 2011 in the United States.

A chronicle of Hind Huseini's effort to establish an orphanage in Jerusalem after the 1948 Partition of Palestine and the creation of the state of Israel.

Jerusalem, 1948. On her way to work, Hind Huseini comes across 55 orphaned children in the street. She takes them home to give them food and shelter. Within six months, 55 had grown to almost 2,000, and the Dar Al-Tifel Institute was born.

In 1978, at the age of 7, Miral (Freida Pinto) was sent to the Institute by her father following her mother's death. Brought up safely inside the Institute's walls, she is naïve to the troubles that surround her. Then, in 1988, at the age of 17, she is assigned to teach at a refugee camp where she is awakened to the reality of her people’s struggle. When she falls for Hani, a political activist, she finds herself torn between the fight for the future of her people and Mama Hind's belief that education is the road to peace.

I'm looking forward for this.

83rd Academy Awards - The Result

I don't think there's not much controversy or an upset, at least for me. The King's Speech bagged The Best Picture and The Best Director. Colin Firth and Natalie Portman for The Best Actor /Actress, while Christian Bale and Melissa Leo for The Best Supporting Actor /Actress (I haven't watch The Fighter just yet)

Congratulation The King's Speech, the worthy winner of 4 major categories. Inception are done well too (4 awards) and closely followed by The Social Network (3 awards).
